  • Intermediate/Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

Exam Structure

The TET consists of  papers:

  • Paper I: For applicants proceeding to educate Classes I to V.
  • Paper II: For candidates intending to educate Classes VI to VIII.

  • Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 marks
  • Language I (compulsory): 30 marks
  • Language II (obligatory): 30 marks
